SCULPTURE BIENNALE 2012, THE KING'S GARDEN, COPENHAGEN

For more than forty years, a large sculpture exhibition has been held in the King`s Gardens in downtown Copenhagen where Rosenborg Castle is situated. The garden is Copenhagen's most used park and is visited annually by over three million people. The exhibition will take place between 25th August 2012 and 21st October 2012.

The exhibition is free to participate in and each artist may exhibit up to two sculptures. Each sculpture must be able to stand in a public space. Each artist must pay their own transportation costs (www.DSV.com is recommended for transport enquiries. The Danish Sculptor Society aim to raise funds with participating artists for the transportation of pieces to the exhibition). The sculptures are not insured by the Danish Sculptor Society; participating artists must have liability insurance. The Danish Sculptor Society will publish an exhibition newspaper, provides PR, guided tours and events in conjunction with the exhibition.

In order to plan the Sculpture Biennale, please pre-register expressions of interest by email before 11th December 2011 to: schaarup@c.dk (email subject: THE KING'S GARDEN 2012). Following this, a registration form will be sent at the beginning of 2012.
