STEVENS ARCHITECTURAL GLASS COMPETITION 2012

Entries are now being accepted for the 2012 Stevens Architectural Glass Competition. The project put forward for this year's competition is for an emerging glass artist to design a feature window (approximately 1140mm wide x 3100mm high) in the new In-Patient Unit at St. Michael’s Hospice, Hereford. St Michael’s Hospice is in Bartestree, about 5 miles east of Hereford. St Michael’s cares for people with any progressive, life-limiting condition, people of all faiths and none and completely free of charge. Competitors will be invited to design off-plan for the feature window on the west wall of the new In-Patient Reception. Eligibility to this competition should be interpreted to embrace all those at an early stage of their career as reflected by the stipulation of studying or being within five years of completing training. The competition is organised by The Worshipful Company Of Glaziers And Painters Of Glass, supported by WorldSkills UK. Enter online before 15th March 2012.
