CRAFTS COUNCIL OF IRELAND SEEK EDUCATION & OUTREACH OFFICER
The successful candidate for this appointment will be responsible for the development and delivery of targeted education programmes that increase skill levels, raise awareness and develop the knowledge of a wide range of audiences and stakeholders. They will be required to: Manage, develop and co-ordinate targeted education initiatives that raise awareness, increase skills and knowledge of the National Craft Gallery and the craft sector nationally and internationally. Lead the development of dynamic resource materials across a range of media that promote innovative approaches to engaging with Irish craft. Manage and develop an internship programme in partnership with third level institutes. Lead a team of contractors in the delivery of off-site education programmes at large scale public events. Also, work closely with other teams within the Crafts Council of Ireland. The candidate will be based in Kilkenny and should be eager to develop this creative industry sector.
