Two influential flameworkers; Lisa St. Martin and Sally Prasch, will be travelling to Ireland in May and September 2012 to teach flameworking classes at Essence of Mulranny studios in Co. Mayo.

Lisa St. Martin brings a sparkle to the workshop working with metallics, fuming, reduction techniques, working with dichroic glass, copper mesh, silver wire, acid etching and more. With 24 hour open studio, you will have a chance to practice these techniques and stretch your beadmaking abilities.

Sally Prasch; with a blend of art and science this class will incorporate scientific glassblowing techniques into artful forms. Both soft and borosilicate glass will be used to create large and small sculptures, beads, vases and goblets. Working together on an individual basis, we will find personal expression through concept, form and colour.
Bring your ideas and prepare to have fun! Emphasis will be on exploration, spontaneity and investigation.
