Bullseye Glass Ltd and the University of Wolverhampton invite you to consider an “Inspire & Inform” series of lectures by international artists. On October 28th US artists Catharine Newell and April Surgent will spend a full day at the University as part of a national tour, discussing their finished work and conceptual and technical processes.
Both Newell and Surgent are widely recognized for figurative work in glass—Newell for “painting” with frits and powders and Surgent for cameo-engraving fused layers. To view some of their artwork and read about their processes, you may follow these links:

Times: The lecture programme will begin at 9:30 and end at 16:30-17:00, with a break for lunch.
